Affiliated organizations are independent organizations in Canada who are agreeable to working with the Coalition for the expansion and maximization of reach, message and results.
Animal Rebellion Turtle Island – ARTI (North America) is a mass volunteer movement that uses methods of nonviolent civil disobedience to transition away from animal farming and industrial fishing to a plant based food system, halt mass extinction and minimize the risk of climate breakdown and social collapse.
Nation Rising is a non-partisan political advocacy group. We’re bringing together individuals, experts, and organizations across Canada concerned about the environment, health, and animal rights to put pressure on the government to stop the multi-billion dollar subsidies that go to animal agriculture.
Vegan Option Canada (VOC) is a nationwide grassroots political activism organization that aims to ensure vegan options are available in a variety of areas, particularly vegan food options. Its founding principles are horizontality, decentralization of power, and a pragmatic approach based on the values of compassion and non-violence.
Climate Save exists to raise awareness that the most impactful way individuals can combat climate change is adopt a plant-based lifestyle, & convince others to do the same. We also need to transition to green energy; eliminate fossil fuels; & plant trees
Animal Protection Party of Canada is North America’s first environmental and animal protection political party. They are unique in the animal protection community in that they specialize in electoral politics.
Animal Save Movement is an international network of concerned citizens bearing witness to farmed animals at slaughterhouses and encouraging others to do so to end speciesism and their suffering. Our goal is to build a worldwide animal justice movement.
Voice for Animals is a registered, non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of animals in a wide range of circumstances. Our focus is on local and province wide issues but our motto could be “think globally, act locally”. We believe that we must lend our voices to speak out for animals who are abused and exploited because, whether domesticated or wild, they have virtually no protection under human law.
DxE is a direct action network of ordinary people, formed using the model of grassroots networks in the history of social justice — ACT UP, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, the Women’s Social and Political Union, and the Antislavery Society.
The Communauté Droit animalier Québec – DAQ is a non-profit organization born as a result of the Quebec government’s commitment to recognize animals as beings endowed with sensitivity and biological imperatives.
Evolve Our Prison Farms is a national justice movement advocating ethical prison farms. We oppose any model that exploits prisoners or animals for institutional or corporate gain. We support alternative models that are restorative and healing for prisoners, animals, and earth.
Plantdemic is Canadian-based, non-profit international organization dedicated to exposing and educating on how the treatment of animals relates to human disease. The goal is to set sail around the globe, a journey of 24 months to complete, stopping in about 36 countries, bringing to light the preventive measure of future pandemics all around the world, with an educational presentation explaining how the treatment of animals is having global public health implications, and how a plant-based diet would significantly reduce the likelihood of another, much deadlier pandemic and fend off future unknown diseases.
