We are calling on all of you to unify for ONE DAY, with the singular message that EATING ANIMALS CAUSES PANDEMICS. Join us for International Pandemic Outreach Day on May 1, 2021. Let’s stand together on the solid foundation of fact-based science and sound the alarm.
COVID-19 is only the most recent example of how the consumption of animals can work against humanity in unimaginable ways. Indeed, some of the worst pandemics in history originated with our use of animals. Despite this and consensus among experts, recent months have shown a complete failure on the part of the press and our governments to acknowledge the shift our food system must take in order to prevent future, more catastrophic outbreaks. The sole, scripted course of action remains unchanged: “hang on” for the band-aid solution of a vaccine.
We must take action into our own hands, in our own communities. We must call out the root cause of our global health crisis: OUR ANIMAL-RELIANT FOOD SYSTEM IS A THREAT TO OUR HEALTH AND OUR FUTURE.
As World Immunization Week closes, a collective of activists from around the globe will ensure that the world knows that the only way to effectively immunize ourselves against the next pandemic is to change our food system.
We will come together for COVID-safe demonstrations in biohazard gear and surgical masks to paint a grim visual of what our future holds if we don’t learn from this current pandemic. We will literally be sounding the alarm at government offices and public squares. Videos of our actions will be posted worldwide, and our collective efforts will go viral as we join in unity for One World, One Day, One Action.
